JAZZ
The "Great Jazz Masters" series bridges two of my dearest passions and important driving forces in my life: photography and jazz.
Portraits that marked my professional and personal career, captured in some of the iconic temples of this music. Symbols of an era, many unfortunately closed, such as the beloved "Johnny" (Colegio Mayor San Juan Evangelista) and others venues, still resisting, such as Café Central or the Madrid and Donosti Jazz Festivals.
Faces of friends as beloved as my long lost Tete Monteliú, Jorge Pardo or Javier Colina, and geniuses from the heartland of jazz such as Miles Davis or Dizzy Gillispy, coexist in this retrospective. All creators and constructors of that unique music with primitive and eclectic roots that resist and defy the rules. All of them great jazz masters.
A lifetime dedicated to photography amidst a jazz beat in the background. This collection speaks for itself. Enjoy!
