ALMERÍA MÁGICA is the result of a long-term project that began when the photographer set foot on the land of Almería and embarked on an exploration of the region, meticulously documenting its varying landscapes, from the mountainous terrain of Las Alpujarras to the captivating coast of Cabo de Gata. Emilio Barón, a local poet, beautifully describes the region as a place of natural beauty and contrasts, with verdant fields in the north, the mysterious castle perched on cliffs, and the sandy beaches of Levante, Rodalquilar, El Plomo, Aguamarga, and Las Negras. The Almanzora river, with its marble quarries and abundance of water and fruit trees, further contributes to the region's diversity. The snow-capped peaks of Sierra Nevada and the picturesque Alpujarras, which transition into vineyards and agricultural fields, complete the tapestry that is Almería.

Through the lens of his camera, the photographer captures the essence of Almería in a collection of abstract and conceptual images, giving birth to a new version of "Magical Almería."
